Negative and no positive?

Assalammualaikum chinggudeul.... I'm back again.... Today I'll ramble about :

NEGATIVE and no POSITIVE?

It all started with my Bahasa Malaysia teacher. She sees the good side of western culture which I think is bad enough with  some of the songs that insult my religion. I can't compromise with that fact. But here's what she said :

Teacher : Budaya barat tu ada jugak baiknya. Bertamadun. Kita tengok budaya timur ni. Kpop. Lansung takde faedahnya. Bedah plastik semuanya. Bukan cantik pun. Lelaki Malaysia seribu kali lebih handsome.
(Western culture have their good side. Civilized. Just look at this Eastern culture. Kpop. No benefit at all. All using plastic surgeries. Not like they are that pretty. Malaysian guys are much more handsome.)

Did she just insult Kpop? I keep quiet at the back but my heart is flaming. How can you compare my perfect hubbies to Malaysians?
*chill chill....*
I'm not saying that there's no handsome guy in Malaysia but.... I love my hubbies more.

I'll list down a few things that is POSITIVE about Kpop.....

1) They teach me the importance of teamwork

*Super Junior - 7 years
* Big Bang - 7 years
* SNSD - 5 years

the most important....

*Shinhwa - 14 years

Can you just imagine how long they had worked with each other? Without strong teamwork, I don't think any of them can be together for this long. Shinhwa, 14 years, I was just a 2 year old toddler when they debuted. Can you stay with your friends for that long if you don't even have a teamwork with them?

2) They teach me how to love and care for each other

This was in-fact related to the first reason since they care and love each other, their teamwork is great. They able to stay together. They are not shy to show their love towards each other, even if they are all boys or all girls. They are brothers / sisters. Its not like they have special feelings towards each other. More like Bromance (Brotherly romance).  Plus, they are really affectionate to their parents. Even they guys, they kissed and hugged their mother. How many of us actually show true affection like that towards our parents?

3) Kpop teach me to keep silent and patient

As a Kpoppers, insults are daily things that I have to deal with. Words of disgust often being thrown to me. But I rarely fight back. Once, I'm really obsessed towards a certain Malaysian singer. Every single time someone talk bad about him, I'll be really angry and fight back. I lost all my patience and people start to look down on me. But with Kpop, I'm just a calm and patient fan. When I think about it, there is no use of fighting back. If we fight back, they will think very lowly about us Kpoppers, but when we keep quiet and calm, eventually those haters will become silent.

4) They teach me to be confident

Confidence... Is something I lack in a few years ago. Before I know about Kpop, I'm just an introvert and quiet girl in the class. I have no confidence to start a conversation or make a joke with my friends. Even some of my friends think that I'm cold and weird because I don't talk much. Only answer when asked. After knowing Kpop, I'm a clown. People laugh at me when I start doing random things. I'm brave enough to stand in front of the class, to talk. I start to talk loudly, laugh freely. I gained my confidence.
Weird isn't it? I, myself, don't know why but Kpop surely helped me in this aspect.

5) Kpop give me useful knowledges

Kpop is not all about songs, idols and dances... Knowing Kpop give me knowledge. Watching their variety shows give me a great laugh also great facts.
Examples:
Super Junior Exploration of Human Body - It teach me about the secret of human body. Things that we don't even know that we can do. The secret of human's stomach, the secret of body balance and many more.
Vitamins - This show focuses on our health... Different health on different series... About teeth, bones, sleeps and many more.
Pit-a-pat Korea - Knowing great places in Korea. Maybe someday my dream to visit Korea comes true.

6) Kpop makes me take care of my body
How? Dance! My body is a bit chubby but I'm healthy for sure! I hate going outdoors to exercise but no worries. Learning dances keeps my body healthy and it's fun! Rather than spending money on gyms or getting sunburn and tan by exercising outside, I'd rather watch my favorite groups dancing and follow them. I get both the fun and health!

Well.... Enough of my rambling for now.... I'll be back with my new obsession of 12 wolves!
